Turn your APK into a QR code
Upload the APK and you get a QR code with it. Point an Android phone's camera at the code and the app installs. Upload a new version later and the same code gets it.
Drag & drop your build
or browse files — .apk or .ipa, up to 150 MB
- 01
Drop your APK above
Sign in with your email the first time. The upload takes as long as your connection does.
- 02
Tap Save QR code
It is on the card that appears after the upload. You get a PNG big enough to print.
- 03
Scan and install
Any Android camera app or Google Lens opens the link. Your tester taps Install.
Print it once
A normal QR generator gives you a code for one file. When you build again, the code is out of date and you are printing a new one. Ours points at your app's link instead. Version 2.4.2 replaces 2.4.1 behind the same code, so you can put it somewhere and leave it there.

Questions
Is it free?
Yes. The free plan takes APKs up to 150 MB and keeps each build for 7 days, for up to 5 apps. No card needed.
Does the QR code change when I upload a new version?
No. The code points at your app's link, and the link always serves the newest build. Upload the new APK the same way and everyone who scans gets it.
How long does the QR code keep working?
As long as there is a build behind it. Builds are kept for 7 days on Free, 30 on Pro, 90 on Studio, so on the free plan upload a fresh build before the old one runs out.
Can I make a QR code for an iPhone app?
Yes, upload an IPA instead. The catch is Apple's: an iPhone can only install it if its UDID was in the build's provisioning profile. Our IPA Inspector shows you which devices a build covers.
Can I stop strangers installing it?
Lock the app to invited testers and anyone else who scans the code is asked to sign in first. On Pro you can also put a password on the link.
Why does Android ask for permission before installing?
Any APK from outside the Play Store gets that prompt the first time, asking to allow installs from the browser. It is a one time switch, not a sign that something is wrong.
Rather send the link in a chat? See sharing an APK on WhatsApp. Building for iPhone too? Check your build with the IPA Inspector.
