Free vs. Pro vs. Studio limits

App Dropper is free to start, no card required. Here’s exactly what changes on Pro and Studio — the same numbers as the pricing page, not a rounded-up marketing version of them.

The numbers

The fine print on three of those

• Apps you own.Projects you manage for someone else don’t count against your limit — only ones you created.
• Studio’s “Unlimited.”Apps and testers are effectively uncapped on Studio — there’s a very high ceiling behind the scenes purely as an abuse guard, not a number any real team or agency will reach.
• Manager seats. The owner counts as one of them. See team roles.
• Build history. On free, once an app holds 5 builds, the next upload deletes the oldest — file and record both — to make room. See extending and deleting builds.

What’s the same on every plan

Tester feedback, push notifications, unlimited installs, uploads from the CLI, API, GitHub Actions, Fastlane or Codemagic, and both Android and iOS over-the-air installs. Nothing about the core distribution flow is gated.

Switching between Pro and Studio

Already on Pro and want Studio (or the other way round)? That’s a plan swap on the existing subscription, not a new purchase — do it from the billing portal on your billing page rather than checking out again.

If a subscription lapses

Access doesn’t drop the moment a card fails. A subscription still counts as active while it’s trialing or past due— Stripe retries a failed payment for roughly two weeks before giving up, and there’s no reason to yank a project over what’s usually an expired card.

If it does end for good, any build you’d pinned to never expire gets a 30-day grace windowwith a normal expiry date rather than being deleted on the spot, and you get an email about it. Everything else reverts to the free plan’s limits, same as a brand-new account.
